Someone asked me what’s up with this name 'Chunangadan'?

Well, I am from Chunandad, which is a small village in the Southern tip of the Indian peninsula. India is divided into States, and States to Districts and Districts to Taluks and Taluks to Villages. Chunandad is one such village in Ottapalam Taluk, which is in Palakkad District which is in Kerala State!

Adding the sound ‘an’ at the end of a place or group is how we refer to someone from ‘that place’ or ‘this group’ in the local lingo – in short, Chunangadan means ‘one from Chunangad), which I am.

And I am almost certain that I am the first blogger from Chunandad, but I couldn’t be sure, but I chose to claim the title until disputed by someone else! :)
